A new Bride AND Girls Camp (previous post)

There really is nothing more fun then seeing friends you have not seen for YEARS!!!
The bride to be, and the biggest Ute fan that I know (even more then Richie) is
on the right, Samantha, sporting the new Ute apron. We had a true southern style
shower, in the back yard, complete with garden chairs, lime punch, and all the fancy fixins
you could dream of!!!!
And here he is, Steve the Beve! The groom to be!
Also a HUGE Ute fan! The joke of the night was how both Steve and Samantha cried when
the Utes had a horrible loss 3 years ago, but that neither even contemplated shedding a tear
when asked to spend the rest of their lives together.
Truly a match made in heaven!!!!

Heber Girls Camp

So, what is more fun then going to girls camp, when you are 13,14,15,16 and 17? ALSO going when you are 26!!! I am the Behive advisor in our ward, and let me just tell you its better then great.  I did feel a bit guilty leaving Lucy with Jeff, as I've never been away for a night, but it was great! These are a few of the girls, ready for an afternoon 5 miler!
A sunrise hike.  It is SO nice to get away from the city craziness, and just to smell the great out doors! It was much much needed!
This was on the 5 miler. We got up so high, and it only made me get itchin to do a nice long back backing hike with my father-in-law. That will have to wait my friends.
And one of the most amazing things we saw on the hike were these caterpillar nests. They were everywhere. Some were all enclosed, and others had the critters baking in the sun. They were something I had not seen before, but fascinating!!!!
All in all, it was a great trip!
Just what the doctor ordered.

Hawaiian Trip Video

OK, it has taken awhile to put this together, but we finally got around to making a video of our Hawaiian trip to Maui in April. Seeing all of the video and photos that we have made to want to get back there as soon as humanly possible!

PS-If you have sound on your computer, pump it up!

A fun filled weekend!

This was way to cute to pass up.
On the way home from church I picked
a flower for Lucy (sorry Pierces). She
usually puts everything in her mouth, but
for some reason, she was just fascinated
with this flower.
She does love nature, and perhaps it would
way beyond any cruelty to eat and chew on
this poor flower.
She has been at such a fun age, and we just can't seem to get enough of her!!!

Ah yes!!! The canyons!
We headed up Millcreek on Saturday night with Paul, CammiJo and Reagan for some tinfoil
dinners and a fire.
It was SO nice to get away from all the craziness of city life, and have a little escape for the evening.
Lucy loved playing with Reagan, and admiring all her teeth and her golden locks!

Although we did stink up the car with the
glorious smell of smoke, it was worth the
torture, to enjoy the great out doors.

The SPAG FAG!!!

Ah yes! Finally! This is the best representation that I could share with the blogging world of my high school days!
For a girls night out, this is where we went.
The memories were flooding back!
Horrible dates that I'd rather forget,
dinner with friends for birthdays and just to lunch,
surprising Jeff for a birthday dinner with some of his best friends...
I could just go on. BUT a final thought, you truly are not a Utahn if you have been here, and don't like it, or have not been here!
It's a must do, and truly a feast for the eyes, as well as the belly!

So here we are, certainly up to no good.
I am sure they put us upstairs because we had a decibel level that could possibly shatter many glasses!
SO FUN!!!
We went to dinner, and then got up to some crazy trouble in Salt Lake.
Just like the good old days!

Oh yes, and lest I forget, one other reason to travel to the great Spaghetti Factory, if not for their yummie house dressing or the fabulous garlic butter, but certainly for the FREE ice cream!!! This is Spumoni, truly a gift from the heavens!

A First Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day!!!! This is the darling hand print Jeff got from Lucy for
Fathers Day, along with a child's bike seat.
Jeff is by far the CUTEST father I have ever seen!
When he gets home from work, he rushes in to see her, and make her laugh.
(The chap stick is only so you can get a feel of her iddy biddy hand)
This picture is one of many that we have of Jeff and Lulu. He is ALWAYS
saying "take a picture of us". He just adores her, and that is more
then I could ever have asked for.

He loves to make her laugh, and is constantly looking for ways to entertain her.
It often involves dance moves I hope no one ever encounters.
And last but not least, this was part of our celebration. We went out for breakfast
to celebrate. We just went to IHOP, and really enjoyed our time
as a family of 3,  for now!
I can't wait for this next baby to have the love of such a great man!
Thanks Jeff!
I love you.

Ah, nothing in life is free? Well... this was!!

So, it was free day at Pioneer Trail State Park. Kim, my sister-in-law, and her girls, Addie and baby Marin came. Also, Cammi Jo, my cousin and her baby Regan.
This picture is so cute, because it shows Addie's adoration for Lucy. Every time we
sit them together for a picture,  Addie immediately puts her arm around Lucy, and pulls
her closer. So cute!

I'm glad they are already friends.
In these pictures, much to my surprise, Addie rode the poney. She seemed to like it,
and looks like such a big girl!
It was a really fun day, AND we got free ice cream, although much to Kim's
disgust was root beer. Sorry.
Thanks for coming guys!
You just can't beat free!

What in the Cherry Tree !!!!

Before I begin the saga...let me introduce the clan! (With exception to Lulu, who ya'll know) these are the Boyz! These are my main men! These are my best friends! These are the brothers from anotha motha! This is my adorable husband Jeff, and introducing the blogging world to Abe, my favorite, most talented, funniest, VERY good looking, SMART, thoughtful, creative, patient and ever loving brother!
And this, is the feast of lasagna, bread sticks and salad! Count on a pregnant woman to know whats for dinner!
Ok ok ok! Enough of the jibber jabber. With Abe, there is never a dull moment, and his 6'5" height proved to be quite the value after dinner.
We strolled in the back yard to enjoy desert, and well...read the rest!

What to our wondering eyes should appear, but a tiny hornets nest,
with all the accessories at best

So we ran to the garage, to see what kill-er we had,
came out with the Raid, and pro baseball brigade

Then we hit it and RAN!!!

And hit it again
To be pleasantly suprised, and to our astonishing eyes, we had defeated the hornets,
and all the little eggs to !!

So eat that, you cherry savaging, no good stingin
do good-er!

(No cherries were harmed in the production of this event)

A MUST read

Ok ok ok. So before everyone gets all riled up, let me first say, this is NOT a picture from me, or Lucy, or from any point during that pregnancy.
This, my friends, is a picture from google images.
So, you ask, what is the point?
Well, as a matter of fact, we are pregnant! Yes! This is NOT an old April Fools post! We are expecting! I am just past the 12 week mark, 3 months, which means any day I will begin to feel a tad more normal. Let me say its been rough, but alas, it all comes to an end!
We are so so thrilled, and CAN'T wait!
I'm due very beginning of December, and Lucy is more then excited!
They will be 14 months apart, which is perfect! (At least for us!)
So, if you begin, or have already begun to wonder, was that just baby fat left over in her gut, or could she possibly be pregnant, yes, after all those crazy days at the gym, I am now gaining back what I already lost! BUT I am so in love with Lucy! I adore her! I just can't imagine loving another child as much!!! I'm sure I will, and we just can't wait!
We'll keep you update, as the weeks fly by!
