Getting bigger in so many ways.

Well, since Lucy turned 6 MONTHS (!!) we didn't want to get behind one bit, so we got her glasses, and she's now reading!
Um...yeah. (OK, just kidding on that)
What a darling!
At her 6 month check up, she was 17 lbs. and 11 oz!!! Thats the 95 percentile folks!
Her height, well, she was in the 70th, and her head circumference measured in the 90th!
So we figured she's got to learn to read if her head is that big and holding all those brains!
She was really brave with the shots, and has really developed a fun personality!

Long live Friday!

So....Fridays are my cleaning days, and I was busy in the Kitchen, when I heard a huge bang in the front room. I ran in to discover bird feathers on the window!
Well, the poor bird, Friday, died on contact.
So, what did I do?
What any good person would have....I cleaned the windows!
I couldn't have his friends sitting there, looking at the windows, and Friday, and saying "Is that really how he died? What type of bird wouldn't see that window?"
For the sake of my friend Friday, I cleaned and cleaned those windows!
We'll miss you Fri!

This will do for now!

(in the voice of Lulu)
So, it seems that I've been having a really hard time growing hair lately, and so when I saw this organic sheep wool, sent from my Grannie in New Zealand, I knew just what to do with it!
Yes, you may wonder if it itches, and at times it does, but wouldn't you rather have itch than baldness?
Oh, and does this make my belly look big?

Paradise Bakery!!!!

This really was Paradise! This is MJDJLMNOPJ (yes, one of the Dibblets) and Jennie Pennie (or as we liked to call her, Dellarees).
My heck, this really took me back. These are two of my best friends from high school!!! Man, did we have some great laughs!
We got together for lunch yesterday, and swore that we definitely needed to make this a once a month activity!
Time flies!! It really seems like yesterday that we were all squeezed in the Mansfield's car, hoping that some how the high school would come sooner then we remember, or making those endless, make you laugh your guts out videos.
Those were the days!
We had a great time at lunch, and it was SO fun for me to see them again! Its been tooooo long girls!
Oh, and next time, I think we'd better keep it down, as I was certain they'd kick us out yesterday!

The Red Iguana!

For all you who have not yet been, this could possibly be the best Mexican food, this way of the border. It really is quite tasty, and for waiting over an hour and a half, it better be!
This is Megan Rasmussen. Jeff and I went down, kidless, with David and Megan! It was a fun night. Since the wait was so long, we had plenty of time to kill, so we went to the Pioneer Museum, across from Temple Square. The Rasmussen's had never been, and seemed to really enjoy it!
It was such a fun night, and always good to be just with Jeff and good friends!

Indian Food! Yum!!!

Ok, so it was more quite this year then during previous conference weekends, however, that did not stop us from creating fabilous Indian Dishes! I must say that the food was a bit dissapointing, but yours turly was able to turn the leftovers into a masterpiece! A hodge podge of all the dishes, and voi la! A delicious Curry soup!

watzup!

We'd hate for our little cute to be to girliey! She sports this hat pretty well! What was so funny was that when we put it on her, and started laughting, she knew she was "on show". Ha! Even being so young still, she's quite the performer!

Much needed attention!

Yes! It was past that time of year! The time where my feet actually get some attention! Jenna, my dear, adorable Jenna and I went out on the town Saturday night! It was not only to regain our sanity, but pedicures alwyas make someone feel like a million bucks! (Maybe not Jenna, seeing how she was so ticklish, she left wondering why she'd have to pay someone for such torture!!!) Thanks Jenna! It was all together to much fun!

Peaches?

So, I am anxious for spring, REALLY anxious, and the first thought was...peaches.
Nothing beats picking those hairy little devils off the tree, and letting the warm juice run down your chin.
Ok, so maybe I haven't done this since I was a kid, but this summer, beware peach trees! I'm on the hunt!
