Happy Happy Birthday Charlie!
Wow! What a year.
This kid is something else!
He's kept us buys with the faces he pulls, the massive diapers
he regularly produces and his charming smile!
Chars and Lucy are the best (and worst) friends!
Charlie, we are thrilled you've joined our family,
and can't wait to see what the rest of our lives together hold.
We love you!

And for Charlies b-day, Jeff and I celebrated that we've survived a year.
No, not really, but we did get an early Christmas, WITH OUT THE KIDS!!!!!!
and headed to balmy FLORIDA!!!!!

It was SO nice to sleep in (although we didn't do it very successfully),
stay up late (if you call 9:30 late), only pay for 2 meals at a restaurant, and not
have to pack the entire neighborhood just to head out for the day.
The weather was between 80 degrees and 68. Perfect shorts weather,
and I'm certain my dry, cracky skin has now healed!
It does look cold in these picts, but it was hot and sticky.
And boy was the food tasty!
